08-2012	Troubled Waters: An Update on Iran’s Sanctioned State Shipping Line Describes how the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) is struggling to stay afloat nearly four years after the United States first sanctioned the company and its fleet. A survey of IRISL vessels blacklisted by the United States reveals that the company is busy setting up new front companies, dissolving others, swapping personnel, re-naming vessels, and re-flagging ships to increasingly unlikely locations.
