28-year-old naturalized U.S. citizen resident in Taiwan; charged, on February 13, 2002, with conspiring to export U.S. Munitions List items to Iran, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act and the U.S. embargo against Iran; allegedly sought, throughout 2002, to purchase satellite images of Tehran, early warning radar equipment, state of the art night vision equipment and other military use technology for export to Iran through Taiwan and other locations; remains a fugitive in Taiwan; if convicted, could receive five years in federal prison and/or a fine of $250,000; also charged was David Chu.
