| Identified by the British government in February 1998 as having procured goods and/or technology for weapons of mass destruction programs, in "addition to doing non-proliferation related business;" with the assistance of TCE Consulting Engineers Ltd., worked on the Chloro Acetyl Chloride Plant at Arak for the Iranian government's National Petroleum Corporation (NPC); produces chlorinated products including thionyl chloride, sulphur di chloride, sulphur mono chloride, and chloro acetyl chloride; produces acid chlorides including para nitrobenzoyl chloride, para chlorobenzoyl chloride, meta nitrobenzoyl chloride, isophthaloyl chloride, 2-chloro ethylamine hydrochloride (solution), 2-chloro ethylamine hydrochloride (powder), n-valeroyl chloride, n-octanoyl chloride, and terephthaloyl chloride; produces sulphonating agents including sulphuric acid, oleum 27%, sulphur trioxide, and sulphur dioxide; produces by-products including hydrochloric acid 30% and sodium bisulphite 22%; developing new products including 2,4 dichlorovalerophenone, crotonyl chloride, and bis-2-chloro ethylamine hydrochloride; offers custom synthesis; in 1995 marketed sulphur monochloride as useful for producing mustard gas. |
