Reportedly imported "Bearing SP3181" ball bearings, allegedly used in rocket and missile guidance units, from France's ADR Company via Turkey; with the assistance of Italy's Frusca Company, the goods were reportedly ordered by Turkey's Step AS (see separate entity record), which listed Turkey on the end user certificate; Ana Trading was reportedly the intended recipient of two containers of tank track components, shipped from Israel by Avichai Weinstein, reported owner and manager of PAD Ltd.; the shipment reportedly included U.S.-made rubber pads for M-113 APC tracks, but was reportedly discovered by German customs authorities in the port of Hamburg in August 2002; reportedly according to German customs authorities, the shipment was not bound for Thailand, per the export license issued by the Israeli Defense Ministry, but rather for "onward consignment to Iran"; reportedly controlled by the purchasing office of the Iranian Army. |
