Head of Iran's Esfahan Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center (see separate entity record), which is linked to uranium enrichment-related activities; listed in an annex to U.N. Security Council Resolution 1747 of March 24, 2007, as a person involved in Iran's nuclear or ballistic missile activities; with some exceptions, the designation requires states to freeze the financial assets on their territories which are owned or controlled by the entity, by its agents, or by entities it controls; the designation also requires states to ensure that funds, financial assets or economic resources are prevented from being made available by their nationals or by any persons or entities within their territories, to or for the benefit of the entity; listed in an annex to U.N. Security Council Resolution 1803 of March 3, 2008; with some exceptions, the resolution requires states to prevent the designated person from entering into or transiting through their territories; Esfahan Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center is part of the Nuclear Fuel Production and Procurement Company of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI - see separate record), which was listed in an annex to U.N. Security Council Resolution 1737 of December 23, 2006 as an entity involved in Iran's nuclear program.
