| Listed by the Japanese government in 2007 as an entity of concern for proliferation relating to missiles, but has not been relisted subsequently; listed as an entity of concern for military procurement activities in an early warning document distributed by the German government to industry in July 2005; the German government urged caution when initiating commercial dealings with this entity, and suggested that all purchases by this entity must be assumed to serve military aims unless the contrary can be shown by specific and verifiable means; reportedly has produced I-Raad anti-tank guided missiles and unguided rockets, including the Fadjr-3 240mm multiple rocket system; reportedly involved in reverse-engineering the Kh-55 land attack cruise missile with Aerospace Industries Organization (AIO - see separate entity record) subordinate CSIG, which oversees cruise missile technology development and production; cruise missiles, solid missile fuel, TOW anti-tank missile systems, surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles, and Scud-type missiles have also been produced at Parchin, according to press reports and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI); according to NCRI, affiliated with AIO; reportedly has been overseen by the Sanam Industrial Production Group (see separate entity record); in 2009, the Japanese government listed Missile Industries Group and Sanaye Moushaki Parchin (SMP) as aliases for Sanam Industrial Group. |
