| Provides design and construction services for industrial projects; according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), is controlled by the Defense Industries Organization (DIO-see separate entity record), and is involved in construction of tunnels and hardened facilities, including at Parchin, where research into laser uranium enrichment has been conducted; involved in the construction of underground facilities at Behjatabad-Abyek, according to NCRI; Saber Akbarnia is reportedly the managing director; in March 2010, was awarded a $31.9 million World Bank-funded contract for canal and drainage system construction; listed by the German government as an entity of concern for proliferation in an early warning document supplied to industry in 1995. |
