| Listed by the British government in 2008 as an entity of potential concern for WMD-related procurement, and has had export licenses both granted and denied by that government; intended recipient of duplex pipeline strainers, mesh filters and Viton, the procurement of which (through Azar Ab Industries Company - see separate entity record) was denied on February 18, 2005, by a member state of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG); subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC - see separate entity record); responsible for developing the South Pars gas, North Pars, Golshan and Ferdowsi gas fields; major tasks include reservoir evaluation, technical and economic assessments, engineering studies, and appraisal and selection of contractors; managing director is Ali Vakili (as of January 2008); intended recipient of specialty alloy pipes which Proclad International Pipelines, Ltd.
