Security Council resolution 1737 of December 23, 2006; listed by the European Union on April 24, 2007, as an entity linked to Iran's proliferation-sensitive nuclear activities or Iran's development of nuclear weapon delivery systems; with some exceptions, and within their jurisdiction, European Union member states must freeze all funds and economic resources owned, held or controlled by the listed entity, and must also ensure that funds or economic resources are not made available to or for the benefit of the listed entity; with some exceptions, European Union member states must prevent the entity's entry into or transit through their territories; also Vice President of Iran and a member of Iran's Expediency Council; according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), heads Energy Novin Company, Pars Trash Company, Shakhes Behbood Sanaat Company, Mohandesi Toseh Sokht Atomi Company, Ltd, Sookht Atomi Reactorhaye Iran company, and Modieriat Saakht Niroogahaye Atomi Iran company (see separate entity records); according to the NCRI, heads the Board of Directors of Tamin Tajhizat Sanayeh Hasteieh company and was a member of the board of directors (as of 2003) of Noor-Afza-Gostar Company (see separate entity records); born March 15th, 1949 in Khoy; Iranian passport number: S4409483, valid until April 27th, 2010.
