Iran Rejects Reports of a Short-Term Uranium Enrichment Suspension

Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham on Monday rejected reports Iran could agree to short-term enrichment suspension for resumption of talks on the nuclear issue, saying they arose from a "misunderstanding." Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham was speaking to domestic and foreign reporters at his weekly press conference.

"Iran has made no decision whatsoever to suspend enrichment." However, he clarified that all issues pertinent to Iran's nuclear case "can be raised in the negotiations."
