Iran, vanguard of campaign against nuclear weapons
IRANIAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Tuesday that Iran is on the
frontline of campaign against manufacturers of nuclear weapons.
He made the remarks in a press Conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan, Armenia.
“Iran
is against manufacturing and applying any nuclear weapons and does its
utmost to disclose any plan in the world to manufacture weapons of mass
destruction,” Salehi said.
He derided the western governments for
their allegation that Iran is endeavoring to acquire nuclear weapons
and said that Iran’s nuclear program is transparent, citing the
International Atomic Energy Agency's 24-hour monitor of Iranian nuclear
sites by satellite cameras installed over them.
Salehi said that
the western governments efforts to issue a resolution in International
Atomic Energy Agency against Iran is a sign of desperation to find any
documents proving Iran’s involvement in manufacturing nuclear weapons.
He
started tour of Armenia Monday night for two days working visit to that
country at the invitation of his Armenian counterpart.
