Allegedly an experienced arms dealer working to procure military items for the Iranian government; targeted, along with Jacques Monsieur (see separate entity record), in a 6-count U.S. federal indictment, filed on August 27, 2009 in the Southern District of Alabama; allegedly conspired to export F-5 jet engines (GE J85-21) and F-5 fighter jet parts, from the United States to Iran via Colombia and the United Arab Emirates, in violation of U.S. law; co-defendant Monsieur provided a purchase order for the F-5 jet fighter parts from Trast Aero Space in Bishkak, Kyrgyzstan; remained at large as of November 23, 2009; an Iranian national residing in France; 54 years old as of September 2, 2009.
