Background Briefing Following the First Day of Meetings at the G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Toronto (Excerpts)
Department of State
April 24, 2018
The G7 ministers discussed the range of Iran’s malign activities, they discussed Iran’s ballistic missile program and how that is unacceptable, and they also discussed the JCPOA and the efforts to seek a supplemental agreement by the E3 and the United States.
CBS Interview with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
April 22, 2018
ZARIF: Well as you know, over the past 14 months, 15 months since President Trump has been in office, he has not actually lived up to the deal. He has taken and his administration have taken every measure in order to make sure that Iran does not benefit economically from the deal.
Background Press Briefing on the Upcoming State Visit with President Macron of France (Excerpts)
Department of State
April 20, 2018
It’s difficult to say what degree of detail the two Presidents will go into, because based on the President’s statement back in January, there’s a deadline of around mid-May before he has to make a decision. The Europeans, the E3 in particular, have been working hard on trying to address some of our most important or prominent concerns.
