Security Council resolution 2231; listed by the European Union on April 23, 2007, as an entity linked to Iran's proliferation-sensitive nuclear activities or Iran's development of nuclear weapon delivery systems; removed from the E.U. list in January 2016 as part of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Recognized on August 27, 2006 by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for managing the assembly and engineering of centrifuges, and for operating a 164-machine centrifuge cascade for uranium enrichment; according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), member of the board of directors of Tamin Tajhizat Sanayeh Hasteieh; reported "head of montage and engineering at the Natanz site".
