Listed by the European Union on December 1, 2011 as an entity linked to Iran's proliferation-sensitive nuclear activities or Iran's development of nuclear weapon delivery systems; removed from the E.U. list in January 2016 as part of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action; subject to UK, Italian and Spanish export denials.

Allegedly purchased a satellite communications system manufactured by Sea Tel Incorporated of Concord, California in February 2004, from Mohammad Farahbakhsh via Diamond Technology LLC  in the United Arab Emirates; intended recipient, along with consortium members South Korea's LG Engineering (LG) and Oil Industries Engineering and Construction (OIEC), of carbon steel and stainless steel flanges and fittings, the procurement of which through Azar Ab Industries Co. (AIC) was denied in 2006, by a member state of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

Reportedly part of a consortium that was awarded a contract to implement Phases 9, 10, 14, 17, and 19 of Iran's South Pars Gas Development (SPGD) project; reportedly cooperated with Sadid Industrial Group to form the joint venture company TASDID Offshore Development Co.; contractor for the Iranian Offshore & Oil Company (IOOC); reportedly a contractor for the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC); reportedly a contractor for the PetroIran Development Company (PEDCO).
