Involved in the procurement of carbon fiber for Iran’s nuclear program; between 2010 and 2013, attempted to procure high-strength carbon fiber from Asian suppliers that is suitable for the production of advanced centrifuge rotors and missile components; worked with Mandegar Baspar Kimiya Company on the procurement; designated by the United States (on August 29, 2014) pursuant to Executive Order 13382, which targets weapons of mass destruction proliferators and their supporters; designated by the Canadian government in December 2012 as an entity contributing to Iran's proliferation-sensitive nuclear activities or to its development of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons or their delivery systems.
