A weapon system researcher at Shahid Karimi Group, a subsidiary of Iran's Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), which has been associated with "possible military dimensions of the Iranian nuclear program," according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Served as a senior expert and quality control manager for the Amad Plan, through which Iran procured materials and technology and conducted other activities relevant to the development of a nuclear weapon.

Reportedly wrote a thesis on the preparation of a-cyanohydroxylamines from aldehydes, phenylhydroxylamine, and trimethylsilyl cyanide in a diethyl ether lithium perchlorate medium at Tarbiat Modares University in 1999.
