A front company controlled by Iran's Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), which has been associated with "possible military dimensions of the Iranian nuclear program," according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Involved in research and production of composites, steels, polymers, and other materials for the SPND and other customers; reportedly involved in the healthcare industry.

Personnel have included senior SPND officials, including former head Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, who was killed in November 2020.

Other personnel have included Sayyed Mohammad Mehdi Hadavi (member of the board of directors).

Reportedly established in 2005.

Sanctions

Added on March 22, 2019, to the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), freezing the entity’s assets under U.S. jurisdiction and prohibiting transactions with U.S. parties, pursuant to Executive Order 13382, which targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems; foreign parties facilitating transactions for the entity or otherwise assisting the entity are subject to U.S. sanctions; also subject to the Iranian Financial Sanctions Regulations; foreign financial institutions facilitating transactions for the entity may be prohibited from opening or maintaining correspondent or payable-through accounts in the United States.
