Involved in the design of Iran's IR-40 heavy water reactor in Arak; added on December 13, 2012 to the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), freezing its assets under U.S. jurisdiction and prohibiting transactions with U.S. parties, pursuant to Executive Order 13382, which targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and their supporters.

Produced design documents for the IR-40; provided architectural and engineering information used by Pentane Chemistry Industries in the design of distillation columns for the IR-40.
