Added on November 8, 2012 to the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list maintained by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), freezing its assets under U.S. jurisdiction and prohibiting transactions with U.S. parties, pursuant to Executive Order 13382, which targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and their delivery systems.

A contracting company controlled by Bonyad Taavon Sepah, which was created by commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC); reportedly affiliated with Khatam al-Anbiya (KAA); reportedly cooperated with KAA, Bank Melli, and Iran's Ministry of Roads and Transportation on one of Iran's largest road construction projects.
