Q - Do you have any comment on assertions by the People's Moujahideen that Iran is enriching uranium at a site at the Defense Ministry located in the northeastern districts of Teheran, an accusation denied by Teheran?

A - We have taken note of these statements. It is up to the IAEA to check under the safeguards agreement and additional protocol that there are no undeclared nuclear activities in Iran. In addition, the EU3/Iran agreement of November 15 stipulates that Iran is committed to full transparency and cooperation with the IAEA and has pledged to suspend all its enrichment- and reprocessing-related activities. I'd like to remind you that the IAEA board meets on November 25 and will have occasion to discuss the whole question.
