President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Thursday stressed Iran's unquestionable right to acquire the nuclear fuel cycle based on the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The president made the remark in a meeting with the EU3 Foreign Ministers on the sidelines of the ongoing UN world summit.
Ahmadinejad said, "Talks with EU3 will continue just to build up confidence that Iran's nuclear program does not divert from peaceful purposes."
"Any talk should be comprehensive and about the implementation of all the NPT clauses." The president added he would set forth the Islamic Republic of Iran's initiative on the nuclear issue at the UN General Assembly session on Saturday.
In the meeting, the EU3 Foreign Ministers provided Ahmadinejad with a report on the Tehran-EU3 talks on Iran's nuclear program.
