The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) on Thursday dismissed the accusations fabricated by the US administration against the business.

The IRISL reaffirmed commitment to the international law and said that the US administration has fabricated the accusations for political objectives.

IRISL said that all activities of the company are within the international regulations and that the company upholds laws pertaining to the shipping industry.

Responding to the US allegations, the IRISL said that the claims are baseless and unfounded.

"The company has turned into a private business several years ago and continue with commercial activities respecting the international laws."

The Iranian company further noted that its documents are fully reliable and the US has resorted to incriminate the company without providing any valid document.

IRISL added that the company shut down all its offices in the US many years ago, and that it does not have any cooperation or exchange with American banks and companies, thus, the US embargo will never affect its activities.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines said that it will refer to the international court of justice against the US government.
