Iranian foreign ministry spokesman, Dr. Hamidreza Assefi, on Thursday described some reports based on presence of centrifuge P-2 in an Iranian military center as completely baseless and categorically denied it.

Centrifuge P-2 systems are principally a mere research project, which has not yet been put into operation.

Besides, the Islamic Republic`s nuclear activities are purely for peaceful means and the country never have been involved in any kind of military nuclear activity.

Dr. Assefi emphasized: Iran does not pursue any nuclear program in any of its military centers, and there is no centrifuge P-2 in such centers.
