Iranian foreign ministry spokesman, Dr Hamidreza Assefi, announced that director general of the political and international affairs department of foreign ministry Monday evening had officially informed ambassadors of the three European countries, ie Britain, Germany and France, to Tehran that the plan worked out by the said countries was not acceptable to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Disregarding Iran`s right for having access to fuel cycle, production of fuel and uranium enrichment are among the most important reasons for Iran`s rejection of the Europe` s plan, Dr Assefi said.

He added: In Europe` s proposed plan no reference has been made to the issue of objective and solid guarantees, and this in itself is indicative of the fact that the proposal is in contradiction with the Paris Agreement.

Dr Assefi pointed out: In the letter given to the Europeans, this issue has been emphasized upon that the Europe` s plan intends to create self-wrought discriminatory and baseless criteria.

He added: Isfahan uranium conversion facilities (UCF) today (Monday 8, 2005) resumes activities in the presence of technical and safeguards inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
