Turning to the issue of elections in Iraq and its results, Dr Kharrazi said: The Islamic Republic of Iran, from the very beginning has supported the process of elections and establishment of a legitimate and legal government in Iraq, based on the votes of the people and participation of all religious and ethnic groups of the country, and hopes that formation of interim government of Iraq, would be an important step towards solving the crisis in that country and pullout of alien forces.
Referring to the developments in the Middle East, Dr Kharrazi said: The problems of the Middle East emanates from lack of attention to the main roots of the crisis and unilateral support of the US to Zionist regime.
