Japanese Advisor to Prime Minister Meets Dr. Kharrazi

Iranian foreign minister, Dr Kamal Kharrazi on Monday told visiting Japanese advisor to prime minister, Yoriko Kavagouchi that start of part of activities of Isfahan uranium conversion facility (UCF) constitutes Iran`s natural right.

Referring to the talks between Iran and the Europe and the Islamic Republic's various activities for confidence building, Dr Kharrazi said: The logical solution in this context is continuation of talks on the basis of mutual confidence building measures, and respecting the legitimate right of Iran.

The expectation of Iranian public opinion vis-a-vis peaceful nuclear program is very important an logical, he added.

He further said: The Iranian people follow up all the details of the talks with much sensitivity and expect the country's authorities that The Islamic Republic's legitimate demands in relation to scientific and atomic technology are met, and the Europeans` undertakings in the framework of Paris agreement be implemented continuously.

In this framework the Islamic Republic of Iran, parallel to continuation of talks with the Europe has embarked upon preparing the draft for additional protocol, he went on to say.

Evaluating the relations between Iran and Japan as 'firm', Dr Kharrazi said: The two countries have always been important partners in the political and economic arenas and intend to seriously take jiant strides towards promotion of economic and industrial cooperation.

Dr Kharrazi considered as ample and miscellaneous the grounds for cooperation between Tehran and Tokyo in Afghanistan and expressed hope that with more consultations, it would be made possible for the two countries to prepare new grounds for implementation of joint projects there.
