The United Nations nuclear agency does not want to inquire into Iran`s `alleged studies` separately as it declared that there was no evidence in this connection, a senior Iranian official said on Sunday.

Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, made the remarks at his weekly press conference while commenting on a recent visit to Iran by the International Atomic Energy Agency`s top investigator, Olli Heinonen.

Heinonen arrived in Tehran on April 21 for two-day visit to hold talks with Iranian officials on the country`s peaceful nuclear program. `We have passed through the stage of discussing modality plan and the alleged studies and also settled the six issues envisaged in the modality plan so far. As for the alleged studies, we have given our evaluation on the issue,` Hosseini told reporters. `However, we expressed our readiness to give a chance to discuss any further issues if the IAEA wanted to raise a subject,` Hosseini added. Iran got clean health bill from the UN nuclear agency on February 22. The spokesman also said that Heinonen, is expected to visit Iran again within the coming days.

Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, urged the Azeri officials to urgently dispatch a cargo of Russian parts for Iran`s Bushehr power plant. He said the Russian side, due to its commitment to Iran, is following up the issue and is trying to resolve it.
Azeri customs and border officials have halted a cargo of Russian heat insulators destined for Bushehr nuclear plant. The cargo was stopped at Astara, on the border between Azerbaijan and Iran, on March 29 and has not been released yet. Iranian ambassador to Baku is working to settle the problem and prepare the ground for dispatch of the cargo to Iran, Hosseini noted. The issue is within the framework of Iran-Russia cooperation regarding the Bushehr nuclear plant, he said adding that the issue is based on international regulations and no obstacle is acceptable in its way.
