President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday dismissed impacts of new sanctions on Iran.

"We don't welcome new sanctions, but, new sanctions will not create trouble for Iran," the president said in a press conference.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the statement made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton contradicts with the general policy declared by US President Barack Obama Administration.

Asked to comment about Mrs Clinton's remarks that Iran has developed military government, President Ahmadinejad said that it reflects what the US is doing now rather than the Iranian government.

"The US is currently involved in three wars in the region and that all 75 million Iranian population are the guards of the Islamic Revolution. I think Mrs. Clinton is talking about the US actions in the region," he said.

"We don't know what Mrs Clinton is saying reflects policy of the US administration or she is talking on behalf of different politcal wings of the United States."

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran produces 20 percent uranium when suppliers of the fuel did not answer to Iranian demand.
He told the press conference that Iran had not planned to produce 20 percent fuel, because setting up its production line was not economical owing to low demand.

"We demanded 20 percent fuel from International Atomic Energy Agency six months ago, but, the suppliers did not show readiness to provide Iran with 20 percent enriched uranium."

He said that Iran started production of the fuel when it reached the conclusion that the suppliers did not want to cooperate.

He said in the meantime that Iran is still ready for fuel swap, otherwise, Iran will proceed with producing 20 percent fuel to meet its need.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the US accusations about Iranian nuclear program is the most laughable joke.

He told the press conference that the US is currently stockpiling 10,000 warhaeds and is warning that Iran will be able to produce a bomb in 2015 which is dengerous to the world community.

He said that Iranian nuclear program is transparent and that the US has made it a pretext for political objectives.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran has tested a new generation of centrifuges whose capacities are five times of the previous ones.

In a press conference attended by some 200 Iranian and foreign reporters, he said that Iran has reported starting 20 percent enrichment to International Atomic Energy Agency.

President Ahmadinejad said that the subject of fuel swap is still on the table and certain talks are currently underway with the suppliers.
