President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said all efforts made by the enemies of Iran to impose more sanctions will only make Iranians more determined for progress.

Referring to the Iranian success in the field of space and launching a telecommunications satellite, the president said, "This type of missile is among the most progressive equipment in the world and Iranian scientists and young people, in spite of all sanctions and without any need to others, built the satellite and launched it into orbit. With the help of God, nowadays, our people have obtained the technology to develop different kinds of satellite and missiles to carry them into orbit and we will shortly use our ability completely," the president said.

Referring to the Iranian scientists and young people`s success in the issues like nuclear energy, space, bio-technology and nano-technology, President Ahmadinejad said, "While all enemies and ill wishers of the Islamic Republic were strongly opposed to our progress, we achieved such successes. Enemies disconnected our TV networks to prevent Iranian message from reaching other nations, but our young people are designing and building communications satellites which will be launched soon," Ahmadinejad added.
