President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday received a message from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad as-Sabah calling for development of Iran-Kuwait cooperation.
Mohammad Dhaifullah Sharar delivered the message to Ahmadinejad and said that Kuwait regards Iranian progress as its own and that the progress Iran has made in the field of economic development and democracy would serve to neutralize conspiracies of the enemies of both Iran and Kuwait.
President Ahmadinejad said that enemies of Islam have embarked on sowing discord among Muslims in the Middle East in a bid to create instability.
The Iranian president said that progress of any of the regional states would influence the progress of the entire Middle East.
Ahmadinejad welcomed a decision made by leaders of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) in Riyadh last weekend to establish nuclear power plants.
He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to share its experience with the Persian Gulf states to produce nuclear energy and replace oil with nuclear energy which is useful for environment protection.
Ahmadinejad said that both Tehran and Kuwait City have common outlook about regional and international issues and the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to develop brotherly relations with Kuwait in all fields.
