Referring to Iran's peaceful nuclear activities as one of the most important issues since he came to office 15 months ago, he said it is an issue on which almost all big powers stood against the Iranian nation to prevent it from attaining its rights. However, he said, by the grace of God and thanks to the resistance of the Iranian nation a large number of those who could not tolerate Iran's launch of fuel cycle have accepted this today and are coexisting and interacting with a nuclear Iran.

He made the remark while speaking in today's press conference, adding, "They wished to monopolize the nuclear technology, use it as an instrument to dominate the world and impose their will on other nations."

The president said Iran wants science and technology, especially nuclear technology, to be peaceful and fall within framework of international regulations. He said that thus far, Iran has been cooperative with the relevant institutions. "Iran is a country committed to nuclear regulations."

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to commission some 60,000 centrifuges to meet the country's requirements in peaceful use of nuclear technology. Speaking to domestic reporters at his fifth press conference, he said, "We will commission some 3,000 centrifuges by this year end."

"We are determined to master fuel cycle and commission some 60,000 centrifuges to meet our demands," said the president.

Ahmadinejad said Iran will hold a nuclear success celebration during "Ten-Day Dawn", which is annually observed on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

"This year's Ten-Day Dawn (February 1-11) period will mark the Iranian nation's success in mastering fuel cycle as well as its achievements in other fields," said Ahmadinejad. Iran is to officially enter the nuclear market during Ten-Day Dawn period this year, pointed out the president.

He made the remark when asked about the possibility of UN Security Council sanctions against Iran over its nuclear issue. "Iran has prepared itself to meet any circumstances," he declared.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Tuesday that by "big nuclearization celebration", he meant celebration of the recognition of the nation's right to nuclear technology. "It means celebrating the recognition of the right of the Iranian nation to nuclear technology; as a matter of fact we should still continue work on complexes for fuel production so as to master the fuel cycle needed for power plants," said Ahmadinejad in a press conference when asked about his earlier announcement for big celebration until end of the (Iranian) year for Iran's nuclearization. He said that attempts to ensure the right of Iran to nuclear technology had taken a lot of energy from his government.
