Regarding Iran's efforts to attain nuclear weapons, the President was asked if he is in favor of a military operation against Iran. The President replied that there would be no need for military operations if determined international pressure is put on Iran. If there is determined diplomacy, it will succeed in stopping Iran's efforts to attain nuclear weapons but the Europeans must be firmer and must even turn to the Security Council.
