Japan has been implementing a series of measures on Iran's nuclear activities, based on United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1737, 1747, 1803 and 1929.

The UNSC Resolution 1929 calls upon certain measures and the Cabinet has approved measures accompanying the Resolution (on September 3rd). Based on the Cabinet approval, the Government of Japan implements measures under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and other legislation.
