Question: What can you say regarding the freezing of Iran's nuclear program?

Answer: First of all, I want to stress that we positively assess the recently reached agreements between the European Union Troika and Iran on the suspension of Teheran's uranium reprocessing and enrichment activities. We believe that a step has been taken in the right direction. We expect this to strengthen Iranian cooperation with the IAEA in clearing all the questions still outstanding about that country's nuclear activities. We hope that this decision will strengthen the constructive atmosphere at the current session in Vienna of the IAEA Board of Governors, concerned with this question among others.
