-UF6 production facility, as one of the most important sections of the Isfahan Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF) has commenced operation for the first time, following a 9 years period, and the first yellow cake barrel is fed into the plant.

-The UF6 production factory, within the Isfahan UCF complex was mainly inactive due to the lack of yellow cake throughout the recent years. Upon the agreements reached following the realization of JCPOA and import of large amount of yellow cake and increased domestic production, the plant refunctioning became possible.

-Following the breach of commitment by U.S and based on the supreme leaders order on, June 4, concerning the commencing of some parts of the nuclear industry in the JCPOA framework, this facility was also included in the AEOI agenda. It is worth mentioning that UCF complex authorities had envisaged some preparing measures and therefore the refunctioning operation was performed and modification done in a rather short time of 2 weeks.

-The commencing of the UCF complex and production of UF6 will contribute to the nuclear industry operation by provision of this strategic feeding material for enrichment.
