Challenges, Solutions for Victory in War of Will

May 16, 2019

Tehran, May 16, IRNA – War of will is the description of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei of the current state of affairs Iran-US relations and he believes in trusting the youth and self-sufficiency as the codes of victory.

The White House, on the one hand, comes up with a poisonous trick of negotiation, and on the other, with an iron fist of sanction to fight with the will of Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei on Tuesday evening received government officials, MPs, various political, social and cultural organizations' activists.

The remarks of the Supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution due to the importance of time and enlightenment about the future of domestic and foreign policy of the country, were considered by many domestic and foreign media and political analysts.

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the reasons for Iran's unwillingness to negotiate with the new US administration, recalling some of the country's problems and the need to address them by the authorities. While addressing the real goals of the enemy in negotiation, he outlined ways to cope with America's avarices.

Why negotiation is poisonous?

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during this meeting on the issue of negotiating with the United States emphasized, 'Negotiation with the current administration of the United States is more poisonous.'

At least over the past year, the United States has shown that it is not trustworthy in negotiation, and this issue is not limited to Iran alone. This history of non-compliance to its promises by the White House and a unilateral withdrawal of global commitments is poisonous for each negotiating table, and for the negotiating table with Iran, because of the experience of JCPOA, is more poisonous.

Another part of the reasons for negotiating with the United States as poisonous can be the contradictory behavior of the White House. The White House businessman, on one hand, sends his warships to the Persian Gulf, heightens Iran's sanctions to the severest, and on the other hand offers a negotiation from various podiums. Such a stance makes it impossible for Iran to believe in the right intension by the US in negotiation under sanctions and warmongering.

Next, the other dimension of negotiating with the United States as poisonous can be clearly seen in North Korea. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's talks with Trump in the past year have led to a lot of controversies, and it turned out that the negotiating did not solve the Pyongyang and Washington problems.

The other issue raised by the Supreme Leader in explaining that negotiations with the United States is poisonous is targeting of Iran's strengths in the US-offered negotiating proposals. Issues such as missile power or the strategic depth of Iran, or the support for the resistance groups in the region are among the strengths that the United States, in each negotiation, imposes them as a condition for negotiation, and each negotiation with a precondition for limitation and insistence on ignoring interests will be poisonous.

** Country's problems in words of leader, president

Another important part of the remarks of the leader of the revolution and the president were related to internal problems. The greed of the enemies, due to the growing livelihood problems, was a point in which the Leader warned and emphasized, 'Economic problems and lack of economic agenda, in addition to affecting the credibility of any country, because the people and the poor classes are under pressure, make enemies greedy as well'.

The increase in livelihood problems caused by high costs and some domestic lawlessness has led to the exploitation by the greedy and widespread psychological war in order to disappoint people from the effectiveness of the system.

The created turmoil, if not accompanied by the vigilance of the people and authorities, can make the enemies deluded of weakening the country and encourage their greed for the interests of Iran.

Another important issue that was raised by the president was the difficulties facing the economy with the decline of oil exports. Both the president and the officials present at the meeting are fully aware of it.

Today, Iran, along with its transnational enemy, is involved in the political and historical grudges of some Persian Gulf littoral states.

The region's Arabs’ petrodollars can increase Iranophobia in the region. 'The dependence on oil and raw materials,' 'unnecessary intervention of various bodies in economic matters, and the inadequate implementation of Article 44 policies' and 'the destruction of the business space and cumbersome laws' are also the most important economic challenges facing Iran are among the viewpoints Ayatollah Khamenei mentioned them at a meeting.

The Supreme Leader conceived the realization of infrastructure improvement requires a courageous, promising management, and considered self-sufficiency as a guide to the reform of the affairs, especially in the economic field; an issue that, given the decline in oil exports, can reduce the dependence of the Iranian economy on foreign goods and boost domestic production.

The other part of the remarks of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolutionary was dedicated to 'trusting young people' in solving problems.

The use of paradoxes and turmoil in the US government can also be considered in the current context of Iranian foreign policy. Highlighting contradictions by Iran, as the Foreign Minister did in enlightening about “Team B” can increase turmoil in the US government.
