Tehran, IRNA - Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Wednesday that Iran has deactivated two of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) cameras installed beyond safeguards.

AEOI noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has so far had extensive cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, which, unfortunately, IAEA without considering Iran’s cooperation which comes from Iran’s goodwill, has not only does not appreciated but has also somehow considered it Iran's duty.

So, AEOI decided from today that the activities of beyond safeguards cameras of the measuring on-line Enrichment Monitor (OLEM) and flowmeter to be deactivated, it added.

It noted that of course, more than 80% of the cameras available by the agency are safeguards cameras, which will continue to operate.

Iran's Atomic Energy Organization spokesperson attended a nuclear facility today to monitor stopping the IAEA's two cameras installed beyond safeguards.
