I’m perplexed by the White House’s secrecy over the text of the Iran nuclear deal. I have read the document and believe the American people deserve to know the details of this agreement which has major implications for our national security interests. It’s not a very complicated read, and one need not be an expert to fully understand it. If the President thinks this is such a good deal, then why is he keeping the details from the public? Make the text public and let the American people decide.

This is especially troubling coming from an Administration that claims to so highly value transparency. Members of Congress have repeatedly voiced our concerns over this deal, and the American people, as well as our allies in the region, have every right to know what the Joint Plan of Action really entails.
