1. I, Charles J. Kovats, Jr., being duly sworn, state that: I am a citizen of the United States of America (United States) and a resident of the State of Minnesota. I submit this affidavit in support of the request by the United States for the extradition of defendant Negar Ghodskani (Ghodskani), also known as (a/k/a/) Negar Kani from Australia to the United States for the purpose of prosecuting her on the charges contained in the indictment filed in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in Criminal Case No. CR15-000329-JNE-FLN, charging defendants Green Wave Telecommunication, Sdn Bhn, Alireza Jalali, and Ghodskani with violations of U.S. law.
