WIPO has provided technical assistance to countries subject to U.N. sanctions, including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Iran.  For activities WIPO conducted in countries that are the subject of U.N. sanctions, with special reference to the DPRK and Iran, the WIPO Director General asked for the following assessment.
