In a letter dated 1 June 2022 and received by the Agency on 6 June 2022, Iran informed the Agency that it “intends to install two new cascades of IR6 machine” at the Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) at Natanz and that the relevant updated design information questionnaire (DIQ) was available in the facility for examination by the Agency. These two cascades of IR-6 centrifuges are in addition to the 36 cascades of IR-1 centrifuges, six cascades of IR-2m centrifuges, six cascades of IR-4 centrifuges and one cascade of IR-6 centrifuges already declared by Iran in its previous DIQ for FEP.2,3
