On September 10 the foundation stone ceremony was held on the construction site of Bushehr nuclear power plant Phase II. The plant is being built in the framework of the Russian-Iranian cooperation. The contract provides for construction of two power units of Bushehr NPP (Units 2 and 3).

I call upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to refrain from conducting such launches, given that they have the potential to increase tensions in the region...
