Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that there is nothing against international criteria in Iran's new nuclear installations.

Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, he added that there is no secret issue in Iran's new enrichment facility.

Iran's nuclear programs are clear and transparent, he said, adding that they have peaceful objectives and are designed to meet the increasing needs of the country in the coming years.

Tehran has announced the construction of its new plant to the International Atomic Energy Agency 18 months earlier on the basis of bilateral cooperation and interaction with the agency, Qashqavi said, reiterating that Tehran had expected to be appreciated by the UN nuclear watchdog.

He termed the recent claims against Iran's new nuclear installations as lies.

Qashqavi said statements made by the Zionist authorities saying Iran's nuclear program has military purposes are not worth answering. IAEA Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei has repeatedly announced that Iran's nuclear activities are peaceful, he added.

Meanwhile, IAEA spokesman Marc Vidricaire has reiterated that Iran has recently informed the UN nuclear watchdog that it is constructing its second enrichment plant.

He added that, in a letter to ElBaradei on September 21, the Islamic Republic announced that it was constructing a new uranium enrichment plant.

He stressed that the agency has found from Iran that there was no nuclear material inside the new plant.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman said Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will hold constructive talks with the G5+1 if they have goodwill.

Hassan Qashqavi said the talks would be based on Iran's package of proposals.

Qashqavi added goodwill, mutual understanding and interaction would be opportunities for having constructive nuclear talks.

About the venue of the talks, the FM spokesman said the final agreement will be reached but the meeting would be surely held in Switzerland.

The leaders of the Group 5+1 have said that there are some commonalities about what the two sides can discuss, Qashqavi noted.

On Iran's nuclear activities, Qashqavi said Iranian scholars have obtained peaceful nuclear achievements successfully and will preserve them.
