Commercial satellite imagery indicates that Iran is building a tunnel facility inside a mountain that is two kilometers south of the Natanz complex. It is most likely that the purpose of the tunnel is to provide protection from an aerial bombardment although the tunnel may provide additional space for operational centrifuge cascades.
