Reported production of generators for the Lianyungang nuclear power station in China; reportedly agreed to supply two turbo generators to the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran; production of 1000-kilowatt diesel generators and a 5,500 horsepower propulsion motor for Kilo (Type 877EKM) submarines; in 2002, reportedly shipped parts of a 1000-megawatt turbine generator to the Tianwan (Lianyungang) nuclear power project in China; reportedly will manufacture the turbogenerator and steam turbine for the Kudankulam power reactors in India.

U.N.-EU Sanctions Tally

United Nations and European Union sanctions targeting Iran's military and missile programs remain in place until 2020 and 2023, respectively. The sanctions target firms and individuals involved in these programs, including entities connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC). Over 200 entities are listed by the EU and subject to financial restrictions and travel prohibitions (in the case of individuals). A smaller number – less than 100 – remain designated by the United Nations.
