Indicted in December 2002 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of attempting to sell military parts to Iran; 38 years old; also arrested in the case were William W. Manning, 55, of Clinton, Utah, and the company where he is Vice President, Camnetics Manufacturing of Oregon, Wisconsin; Andrew A. Adams, 63, of Monroe, North Carolina, and the company that he heads, Equipment and Supply International; linked to the Iranian black market, having been sentenced to six months of home confinement in 2000 for lying to a federal agent about sales of aircraft parts to Iran; charged with cooperating with Rick's Manufacturing of Harrah, Oklahoma, to have five shipments of rebuilt starter engines, designed for use in C-130 transport aircraft, shipped to Taiwan; charged with falsifying invoices to understate the value of the engines and to make it appear that the sales did not require an export license; reportedly tried to sell parts and supplies for F-4 and F-15 aircraft and for Sikorsky military helicopters.
