Pleaded guilty in June 2015 to conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) and the Iranian Transaction Regulations (ITR) and sentenced to 14 months in prison; from October 2007 to August 2014, conspired with others to ship U.S.-origin dual-use electronic parts from the United States to Iran, via Taiwan; the items had potential applications in missile guidance systems, secure tactical radio communications, and military radar networks and included circuit boards with U.S.-origin laminates, microwave pyramidal absorbers, and multi-line pass filter networks.

Procured items on behalf of Mehrdad Foomanie, whose companies in Iran included Sazgan Ertebat Co. Ltd. and Moravid Sanant Co. Ltd.; conspired with Susan Yip and two employees of Junbon, Agris Indricevs and Ryan Surenna.
