On July 29, 2010, sentenced to four years and three months in prison after being found guilty in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 6, 2010 of attempting to export nuclear-related dual-use items to Iran without the required permits, in violation of Canada's Customs Act, United Nations Act, Export and Import Permits Act, and Nuclear Safety and Control Act; arrested on April 16, 2009; in March 2009, attempted to ship two Setra pressure transducers (part number 760110CTAN17CD2A) to Keft Trading Co. in Dubai; in February 2009, acquired ten Setra Model 760 Vactron pressure transducers from Canadian distributor Alpha Controls and Instrumentation; allegedly attempted to procure the pressure transducers, which can be used in gas centrifuge uranium enrichment, on behalf of Nima Alizadeh Tabari of TSI Co., which is reportedly also known as Tajhiz Sanat Ideal; sole director, officer, and employee of N&N Express Inc, which operated from Yadegari's home address; born July 17, 1973; reportedly a Canadian citizen who emigrated from Iran in 1998.
