On 22 April 2023, Ukrainian security forces recovered a Shahed-136 uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) in eastern Ukraine. The Shahed-136 is an Iranian-manufactured single-use UAV. Russian forces have deployed these vehicles in large numbers in attacks against civilian infrastructure and in populated areas in Ukraine.
